Our client
Serving a comprehensive range of industrial sectors including food, health and chemistry, our client processes exclusively renewable raw materials, contributing to the fabrication of over 700 in demand products worldwide. With a commitment to innovation, and a turnover exceeding 3 billion Euros, the group employs over 8000 people across Europe, America and Asia.
The role
In a context of considerable growth and global strategy, we are looking to recruit an experienced US/UK qualified IP lawyer to sit in the company's headquarters near Lille. Reporting to the General Counsel, you will manage a team and provide legal support to R&D and Manufacturing activities on a global level. This will entail contract negotiation and drafting, interaction with other departments such as regulatory and IP, as well as participation in policy development and in any other initiatives undertaken by the legal team.
Profile sought
The successful candidate will be a fully fledged US/UK qualified IP lawyer, with scientific and legal training, and 8-15 years' legal experience in an industrial environment (gained in-house and/or in private practice). You are an agile thinker, business-minded, and able to demonstrate both drive and diplomacy. Solid drafting skills and attention to detail are essential, as well as the capacity to communicate effectively in a multi-cultural environment. Demonstrated management experience will be a strong asset, as well as a knowledge/fluency in the French language.
