Head of IT - Law Firm - South Coast

An exciting new opportunity has arisen for a highly skilled Head of IT to join a leading law firm based on the South Coast. The successful applicant will be responsible for aligning the IT strategy on business needs and technical development.

The role holder will be responsible for the daily management of the IT infrastructure and delivering of IT projects. This is an exciting opportunity as you will be instrumental in developing a strategic plan for the development of the firm’s IT infrastructure to maximise the effective use of technology.

Daily duties will include monitoring changes and advancements in technology, evaluating business needs to find the correct technical solutions. You will also work with key stakeholders to develop plans to provide systems which improve the users’ experience.

Further duties will include analysing the cost, value and risks of IT as well as acting as the chair for the firm’s information technology committee to drive the technology forward.

The ideal candidate will have ideally performed previous roles at Head of IT/CIO level and will possess excellent knowledge of IT systems and infrastructure. You will also need to have gained experience of designing and developing IT systems and planning IT implementations.

A solid understanding of budgeting and business operations is required coupled with excellent leadership and communication skills.
