WORK UNDERTAKEN BY THE TEAM
This is an area of law involving highly sensitive instances of alleged child abuse and infringements in social care. In today’s highly sensitive media environment, it is essential that all cases are investigated thoroughly as wrongful convictions can be highly (sometimes irreparably) damaging to the individuals and institutions involved.
The nature of the work not only involves an unparalleled knowledge of the law, but also an appreciation of how to manage the situation. Furthermore, the team invests a great deal of time in staff training and assisting clients in implementing best practice policies and safe guard measures.
WHAT THEY ARE LOOKING FOR
Any candidate who has experience of social care and abuse work will certainly be considered. However, previous experience in this area of law is not a pre-requisite. Our client will equally consider those with EL/PL experience as well as other areas of personal injury. Candidates who demonstrate such a background coupled with the correct aptitude, enthusiasm and attention to detail will also be readily considered.
ONGOING CAREER DEVELOPMENT
This is a highly specialised area of law offering great career prospects. The training on offer is second-to-none and offers any newly qualified solicitor the chance to really develop one’s career and forge key skills in this niche discipline.
