THE FIRM
Our client is one of the leading global law firms.
THE ROLE
Within a competition practice which advises clients on a broad range of competition law and related regulation, at EU and UK level.
The practice has experience of advising clients involved in investigations by the European Commission, the Office of Fair Trading and the Competition Commission.
The practice advises on merger clearance and other competition aspects of acquisitions, disposals and joint ventures, including co-ordinating multi-jurisdictional clearance applications.
The practice also advises clients on the impact of competition law on their commercial arrangements, both positively and defensively, and on the design and implementation of competition compliance programmes.
The team is now looking for a senior lawyer who will have day-to-day responsibility for client relationship and matter management and a high degree of specialist expertise/knowledge.
ABOUT YOU
An experienced competition associate with 5-8pqe (or equivalent) your experience will have been gained at a leading City or US firm.
It is essential that the candidate has a strong academic background (minimum 2.1 degree or equivalent) with excellent written communication and drafting skills.
The successful candidate will also have outstanding technical skills, together with the ability to build relationships with clients and colleagues and work well in a team.
