In House Legal Counsel – Leading Technology Business – Flexible working considered

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Commercial Lawyer to join one of the country’s leading technology companies, based at their offices in Yorkshire.

You will

• act as a trusted adviser and business partner for the provision of all aspects of legal and regulatory advice in relation to the Company’s core business activities
• provide legal advice in regard to commercial, technology and consumer law matters
• drafting and negotiating a range of agreements including suppliers, general T&Cs, advertising and marketing
• managing disputes
• general legal advice to the business including employment, IP and outsourcing
• manage regulatory legal issues with the business and, to that end, an understanding of data protection would be helpful but not essential

This is a unique opportunity to be work in a pro-active and innovative legal function in a fast-moving technology business.

This role will suit someone who is:

• a qualified lawyer with at least 2 years’ PQE* and a background in Commercial / Technology / Consumer law.

• looking for a broad legal role
• seeking to develop their commercial acumen and operational experience
• keen for more flexible working
