In House Legal Counsel – Global Brand – Malaysia (South)

Accountabilities

You will work in a small team, reporting to the Regional General Counsel.

You will work closely with the businesses supply chain, R&D, IT, Operations, Finance, Design and HR divisions to name a few. You will be responsible for a range of tasks but can expect to support the Asia Pacific team on the day to day legal affairs with a specific emphasis commercial contracts with customers, manufacturers and suppliers.

You will also enjoy dealing with tenders, ad hoc dispute resolution, employment, IP and compliance issues.

Requirements

• Qualified to practice in Malaysia
• Upwards of 4 years PQE*
• Must be able to draft, review and negotiate commercial contracts
• Any experience in Intellectual Property, Corporate, Commercial Litigation, Employement or/and Compliance would be beneficial
• Must be based in Johar, Senai or prepared to relocate
