McKenzie Douglas are representing a long-standing business, they are the largest provider in their market and enjoy an international presence.

The business is performing well and have ambitious to grow their success in the coming years, this has created a new role where you will work in a small team and report directly to the Head of Legal.

Accountabilities

• You will engage with the whole business and as such, your role will be varied
• Provide support to all divisions including the Sales team
• Draft, review and negotiating a range of commercial contracts
• Assist with the design, drafting and implementation of product/marketing literature
• Review and assist with amendments to the businesses standard terms, corporate policies and processes.
• You will take a proactive approach to identify and address legal and regulatory risks facing the business and advise on Data Protection issues.

Requirements

• Qualified Solicitor or experienced Legal Executive – no strict guidance on PQE
• Knowledge/experience in commercial contracts - we will consider candidates from a Commercial Litigation, Corporate, Intellectual Property, Insolvency/Debt Recovery, Financial Services. We’re truly open minded!
• Eligible to work in the UK
