In House Global Projects Lawyer – Western Ireland
Our client is a global engineering business going through rapid and continued growth.
Due to this growth our client seeks an experienced lawyer to work with the EMEA team on international projects. You will work closely with key stakeholders providing support on global contractual, commercial legal advice and risk management.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Prepare and review tenders and contracts and support negotiations
- Prepare template agreements and T&Cs
- Provide pre-litigation / claims support and claims and litigation management
- Ensure compliance with applicable legal requirements and group policies
- Provide sensible commercial legal advice
For consideration, you must fulfil the following criteria:
- Qualified solicitor (England & Wales)
- Complex projects experience
- Preferably experience drafting construction contracts
- Around 6+ or more years relevant post qualification experience*
- Prior in-house experience a definite advantage
- Must have the ability to identify and analyze critical business issues and apply legal expertise to deliver solutions
- Must be confident and able to build lasting relationships with internal and external partners, commercially minded, highly organized and able to work effectively in teams
