A top law firm in London is looking for a Legal PA/Case Coordinator to start on an initial 12 month contract. This is a new and exciting position to work as a case coordinator in the tax litigation group.

Description

This Legal PA/Case coordinator role will involve:

To prepare, implement and manage a project plan that can be followed by the legal team;

To ensure the project plan is regularly reviewed, updated and communicated to the team;

To be responsible for all aspects of non-legal work on the case to ensure fee earners can focus on chargeable work, including but not limited to;

Managing all aspects of billing, including; the issuing of bills (working in conjunction with Accounts), managing and responding to all billing queries and effectively tracking costs;

Working closely with Accounts on all billing queries;

Responsible for managing all communication with clients and tracking all documentation;

Producing letter templates and other documentation as and when required;

Other administrative tasks relating to the GLO as and when required.

To work with the Partners and fee earners to ensure that all revenue is captured to reduce write-offs;

To act as the point of contact for all internal stakeholders and ensure effective lines of communication;

To produce regular status reports on the case;

To develop relationships across the firm to understand other resources and technology that can be used to enhance the effective running of the case;

To continuously look at ways to improve the running of the case that may enhance efficiency or improve client service;

To capture key processes and develop a best practice guide that can be implemented on other large and complex legal matters;

Profile

The candidate our client is looking for with this Legal PA/Case Coordinator role will have:

Experience in a similar role within a law firm or business and professional services background is highly desirable;

Strong organisational and administrative skills;

Proven project management skills;

Advanced Microsoft Office skills;

Ability to work with people of all levels of the business and handle all responsibilities with a high level of diplomacy and professionalism;

Excellent organisational skills;

Excellent attention to detail;

An ability to work under pressure, prioritise, multitask and balance various work requests;

A positive "can do" attitude;

Resilient and calm under pressure;
