LEGAL SECRETARY - MANCHESTER
Legal Secretary – An exciting opportunity has appeared within the growing matrimonial team of this leading full service firm in the Manchester. Our client is looking for ambitious individuals with proven administrative and organisational skills. This role may be suited to those with previous secretarial skills or to those with administrative experience who which to develop a secretarial career.

- Previous Experience: Previous experience as an administrator or legal secretary in a reputable matrimonial team would be ideal. That said, candidates with a general litigation background are also encouraged to apply.
FAMILY / MATRIMONIAL TEAM
The matrimonial team has an excellent reputation throughout the North West. The department advise on a broad range of matters including divorce proceedings, co-habitation agreements, including more specialist areas, such as child abduction.

REQUIREMENTS
The role is ideal for a legal secretary with matrimonial or general litigation experience, who is looking to progress. Equally, it is aimed at those with general administrative experience who wish to develop a career in secretarial work. The work on offer includes a wide range of duties, such as:
- Audio typing/dictation and document production;
- General diary management;
- Managing and handling of confidential post and sensitive correspondence; and
- Liaising with fee earners where necessary including in taking of instructions as well as other responsibilities, such as billing.
Candidates should be able to use Microsoft packages to advanced level. Attention to detail is fundamental to the role, whilst also maintaining high standards of professionalism at all times. This is a busy matrimonial team so organisational skills and the ability to prioritise are paramount.
