Mental Health Solicitor - Plymouth - Devon
Unusual and rare opportunity for a mental health solicitor to join this established firm in Devon.
You will be an experienced mental health lawyer ideally with at least 5 years post qualified experience.
You will oversee this firms legal aid contract for mental health work. Essentially you will be working autonomously with the freedom to make your own decisions.
It is essential you are already a qualified solicitor with mental health panel membership.
There is plenty of work available and your experience should include:
- Advising and assisting nearest relatives on their powers under the Mental Health Act
- Representing clients at Mental Health Tribunals and Hospital Managers’ Hearings
- Advising and assisting clients detained in hospital
- Attending CPA meetings
