An exceptional opportunity has arisen for a 4-6 year PQE Corporate Associate to join a full service national law firm that promotes the commercial interest of companies, organisations and individuals. The business is looking for a very personable, bright and confident individual to join one of their Midlands offices. The successful candidate will have solid corporate experience and a high level of technical ability.
About the Corporate Associate role
The Corporate Associate's workload will be diverse and will involve acting for a wide range of clients including international and domestic corporates, financial institutions, entrepreneurs and management teams. Workflows will include the following:
- Mergers and acquisitions (acting for sellers and buyers)
- Shares and business transactions
- Private equity and venture capital transactions
- Corporate & Acquisition Finance
About you
The Corporate Associate will be a UK qualified Solicitor with ideally a minimum of 4 years PQE experience. Candidates with less qualification experience will be considered provided they have had excellent exposure to corporate work at a well-regarded national firm. Your key attributes are excellent commercial acumen, a keen eye for detail and second to none time management skills.
Experience required includes the ability to produce an excellent standard of work whilst supervising others in the team. The ideal person will also enjoy marketing and business development activities and will be a robust individual, having the strength of character to interact effectively with colleagues and clients.
