In-House Legal Assistant

With a proud history and a growing record of success, this organisation is a global player in the entertainment field. Due to a busy workload, a vacancy has arisen in the Manchester office for a Legal Administration Executive with commercial contracts experience.

Your new role
You will join a high calibre legal department providing support for the commercial team. Your duties will include assisting solicitors on a wide range of tasks from drafting and negotiating commercial contracts, NDAs, developing policy documents, legal research as well as working on IP and data protection projects.

What you'll need to succeed
You must have a strong appreciation for contract law with a good legal understanding, either from previous experience in a contracts role in-house or commercial paralegal work in private practice. You will have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to influence and challenge where necessary. Future trainee solicitors looking for a minimum 12 month fixed term contract before commencing their training contract, will also be considered.

You will be offered a starting salary between £22,000 - £28,000 depending on skills, qualification and experience.
