Our client is a leading international law firm who are seeking to appoint a senior insurance litigation lawyer to join their office in Cape Town. The firm hold an outstanding reputation in the South African market with a range of clients including insurers and reinsurers, brokers, capital providers and management teams. Much of the team’s work is international, advising clients on regulatory and commercial aspects of day to day operations across a variety of jurisdictions through to advising capital providers and management teams looking to enter Lloyd’s or advice on acquiring companies. They are also in multiple practice areas on legal 500 worldwide.

Our client is seeking a corporate insurance litigation lawyer with around 10+ PQE. You will need experience in advising insurers about; policy wording, legislation, risk management, alternative dispute resolution, professional indemnity, general insurance litigation, life insurance claims and general insurance issues. and claims management. You will be acting for major insurers and re-insurers, global composites, self-insured PLCs, and government bodies. Stellar academics and previous experience in a law firm are required.
