Private Equity Paralegal

My client is a leading City law firm that is looking to hire a paralegal into their highly regarded Private Equity team, initially on a six month contract. 

In joining the award winning Private Equity team of this firm, you will work closely with Associates and Partners on a variety of Private Equity and corporate finance transactions such as recapitalisations, IPOs, guy-outs and portfolio management. 

The firm is seeking a paralegal who has previously gained a minimum of 1-2 years of experience within the Corporate or Private Equity team of another City practice. Ideal candidates will have prior experience of the following responsibilities: 

• Deal support including drafting ancillary documentation 
• Managing and running virtual data rooms
• Company secretarial duties such as drafting documentation necessary for the incorporation of a company, filings and updating statutory books. 
• Carrying out company searches and conducting insolvency and bankruptcy checks on individuals and companies.

Undertaking due diligence tasks such as compiling and proof reading reports. 

It is essential that all applicant have previously achieved a minimum of a 2.1 in their undergraduate studies and have completed the LPC with a minimum grade of a commendation.
