Lawyer - Contentious Trust and Probate Litigation

Tors are looking for a Litigator with experience in contentious Trust and Probate to work at a highly ranked Law Firm in their Salisbury and London offices.

The firm’s contentious Trust and Probate team are rated as one of the top three legal adviser to charities in the UK and advise on a full range of issues relating to estates or trusts and have a particular specialism in contentious and non contentious legacy work, ranging from one-off questions about administrations to fully contested litigation involving multi-million pound estates.

You will need to have:

• A strong litigation background
• have some contentious trust or probate experience
• be willing to undertake the ACTAPS course
• be self sufficient and flexible with a positive attitude
• have good communication skills and be commercially aware
• be conscientious and analytical with attention to detail
• enjoy working as part of a team
• be willing to participate in the firm’s business development activities

You will also deal with challenges to the validity of a Will, IHT claims, proprietary estoppels, lifetime gifts and international issues. You will act for individuals and professionals.
