Childcare Legal Assistant
Childcare Legal Assistant required to join a local authority based in the northern Home Counties for an ongoing basis.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a busy, friendly legal team within a local authority. They are looking for an experienced, ambitious Childcare Legal Assistant who will embrace this fast-paced position.
The successful candidate will support 3 lawyers with any issues that may arise. Typical duties will involve;
● Filing and serving documents
● Organising witnesses statements
● Keeping bundles up to date, and ensuring they are lodged at court on time
● Issuing proceedings at court
● Instructing counsel
Childcare Legal Assistants from either private practice or local authority backgrounds are encouraged to apply, providing the ability to multi-task is demonstrated. The Childcare team are very supportive of each other and have created a lovely working atmosphere, making this an enjoyable place to work.
