A new Shipping Litigation opportunity has arisen at a top tier boutique law firm, for a 3-6PQE shipping lawyer to join their rapidly expanding London team. The competitive salary starts at £65,000+ depending on the candidate’s level of experience.
The successful candidate must have a genuine interest and relevant experience in dry shipping litigation and commercial shipping. The self-motivated candidate must display good client handling skills as well as being a strong team-player to assist specialist partners in the field.
The role will consist of a variety of shipping litigation matters, including acting for charterers, banks and ship owners. The successful candidate will be assisting on a range of matters in the high court and arbitration relating to MOA and shipbuilding contracts, charter parties, refund guarantees and bills of lading/cargo.
