Banking Solicitor

A new opportunity has arisen for an experienced Solicitor to join the expanding Banking & Finance team of a highly regarded regional law firm, based in Leeds.

Our client is a successful and award winning regional private practice, who service an impressive client base of PLC, private and institutional organisations from their head office in Leeds.

They possess one of the leading Banking & Finance departments in West Yorkshire. The team are on the panels for a large number of household clearing banks, in addition to being a key player in the asset based lending (ABL) market.

Due to expansion they are looking to recruit an experienced Banking & Finance Solicitor to the team.

You will have a minimum of 2PQE in Banking & Finance, gained with a national or reputable regional practice. The firm would also be keen to speak to lawyers currently working in the city who would be interested in relocating to Leeds. Ideally you will have had as broad an experience of Banking & Finance as possible with experience of acting for both bank and borrower. I would also welcome applications from junior Corporate lawyers who would look at re-training into Banking.

Strong academics are important, as is a commercial outlook and a passion for business development as you will be expected to get involved in the further marketing of the department and wider firm.
