Finance Associate – Hong Kong

A top offshore law firm is seeking a Finance Associate to join its team in Hong Kong.

Responsibilities:

  • General banking, asset finance, structured finance work.
  • Transactional banking, multi-jurisdictional advice on CLO transactions, derivatives, distressed investment, restructuring, structured products and capital markets.
  • Advising financial institutions, airlines, lessors and shipping companies on their asset finance transactions.
  • Ability to market the firm in Hong Kong and Asia.
  • Advising on BVI and Cayman Islands law related issues.

Requirements:

  • Must be 2-6 PQE in general banking, asset finance and/or structured finance related work from a top magic circle/US/ top international onshore or offshore firm.
  • Essential that the associate be admitted in England & Wales, Hong Kong, Singapore or Australia.
  • Experience of working in Asia is preferred but not essential.
  • Fluency in Cantonese and Mandarin are preferred but are not essential.
