**Head of Litigation - Liverpool**

**Salary up to £60k negotiable plus extensive benefits**

My client a well established and highly reputable Law firm based in Liverpool are looking for an experienced Solicitor/Member or Fellow of CILEX or extremely experienced Manager to head up their PI Litigation Team.

Position Summary

You will work closely with the Head of Operations on the development for the PI Litigation strategy in line with the company's vision, all objectives and in facilitating delivery of the firm's agreed budget. You will be responsible for the Development and Performance Managers for both the pre and post issue functions and oversee all litigation training requirements.

Main Activities

  • Undertake continuous and in-depth analysis of RTA litigation trends and all competitor tactics
  • Work closely with the Head of Operations to prepare and oversee all the strategic goals of the company's PI litigation business plan.
  • Work closely with the HR Director to identify all training needs within litigation, remaining firm focussed to drive performance and exceed set targets.
  • Ensure delivery of all operational objectives that are agreed.
  • Responsible for the management of the Capacity and Performance Managers and their teams.
  • Ensuring KPI's and targets are met

Personal Specification

  • Solicitor/ Member or Fellow of CILex or extremely experienced Manager with at least 5 years experience of working in the Legal Industry in an RTA managerial position.
  • Proven track record of managing large teams successfully, have the ability to lead, develop, manage and motivate staff.
  • Provide clear direction to Teams and take accountability for team's performance and achieve goals.
  • Excellent organisational skills ans time management, with a methodical and proactive approach to work, strong and confident communication and organisational skills
  • Commercially minded
  • Able to work well under pressure in a fast paced and ever changing environment.
  • Be enthusiastic, highly motivated and driven
