Legal Secretary - Property
Our client is a well-established and well-regarded law firm based in London. Due to a very heavy workload they require an experienced and confident Legal PA / Secretary to support Senior Partners with a fast-paced and interesting workload. This work is mostly concerned with Residential Property.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Land registry experience
  • Conveyancing
  • Client contact
  • Drafting property documentation including correspondence, leases, contracts, and digital dictation;
  • Diary management, arranging meetings and travel;
  • Client liaison, being a friendly and positive point of contact, and accurately keeping contact details
  • Opening and closing files, assistance with client billing, filing and archiving etc;
     

You'll also have a good typing speed, advanced Word usage, good Excel, and excellent written and verbal communication skills. You'll need strong organisational and time management skills, good attention to detail, and the ability to work well under pressure and using your own initiative.
As legal secretary to a small team of fee earners who handle a mixture of Property work, you will have the use of a very efficient document production service, while you are left to focus on developing a legal secretary role which involves diary management, arrangements for meetings and conferences, coordination of travel itineraries, managing the billing process and assisting with marketing and business development.
Good legal secretary skills needed.
