Child Care specialist sought for a well-regarded firm in Ashford.
A multi-office practice with an enviable reputation in the South East; our client has a raft of accreditations to their name and offers expertise in a broad range of practice areas. A dynamic firm known for their ability to communicate clearly and in plain English, they provide a warm and friendly environment in which to work. They are now seeking an additional Child Care Lawyer for their team.
The Role
This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated Child Care Lawyer to join our clients’ thriving practice in the Ashford area. Becoming part of a growing team, which includes one of the firms’ partners, the successful Lawyer will handle a full and varied caseload consisting predominantly of publicly-funded care proceedings, acting for parents, children and third parties. The ideal Lawyer will hold Child Panel accreditation and will be fully conversant with LAA funding procedures.

The Candidate
You must be a qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive with a solid background in Child Care matters, gained within a reputable Family department.
You must have excellent technical skills to include advocacy experience.
Membership of the Law Society’s Children Law Accreditation Scheme would be advantageous.
You will be able to manage a demanding caseload with minimal supervision.
You will have excellent interpersonal skills across all levels.
