Costs Paralegal - Birmingham - Salary dependent on experience

An in-house Junior Law Costs Draftsman/ Costs Paralegal is sought by my client in Birmingham, a leading international firm of Solicitors. This innovative legal business specialise in a wide range of areas of law, namely: commercial, corporate, employment, real estate, dispute resolution and more.

The right candidate will have previous experience as a Paralegal, preferably in Costs; candidates with strong litigation background out of Costs are also welcome to apply. Ideally, you should have a degree in Law, Economics, Business Studies or Mathematics, however, candidates without such will also be considered as appropriate training will be provided.

Your duties will involve handling own caseload, reviewing Bills of Costs, drafting Points of Dispute and conducting negotiations with the paying party. You need to be driven, organised, be able to work on own initiative without close supervision and adhere to strict deadlines.

The salary on offer is competitive and dependent on experience.
