A leading and award winning Manchester City Centre based law firm are currently looking to recruit a Pensions Legal Administrator to work within the busy department providing general administration support to the team.  The successful candidate must have a keen interest of working within the legal industry initially at administration level and have excellent communication skills both written and verbal

 

Duties include:
  • Scanning all incoming mail, save electronically, and distribute to the relevant person
  • Arranging Royal Mail, Courier items, and hand deliveries
  • Creating and archiving files, both electronically and hard copies
  • Archiving and recovery of records as requested by secretarial or fee earning staff
  • Opening and closing files
  • Co-ordinating cheque requests, account queries and expenses
  • Scanning, photocopying and printing
  • Assisting with monthly billing procedures 
  • Diarising key dates and appointments; booking meetings room
  • Ordering and storage of stationary
  • Answering the telephones, taking detailed messages and forwarding to relevant person
  • Ad hoc assistance with training events
  • Updating client databases
