Global Litigation Counsel (2-5 PQE)

This major investment bank has a vacancy within its Legal Department for a lawyer to join an extremely collegiate and friendly team based in their London office.  The team of four lawyers act as a hub for global contentious and post-contract advisory matters and tends to see work which is highly international in nature.  

Reporting direct to the Head of Litigation, you will have complete autonomy on smaller matters but work with the wider team on more complex and bigger ticket disputes.  Matters will range in nature from general commercial litigation to disputes around investment banking transactions across the business through to regulatory investigations and international arbitrations.

The team is highly flexible, with members often working from home and the opportunity existing to apply for part time hours where necessary and the work environment is extremely pleasant and friendly.  Work/life balance is also a significant selling point of this position, with hours considerably less onerous than in private practice.

An opportunity to gain exposure to a highly diverse and interesting portfolio of disputes for a commercial litigation/arbitration lawyer with 2-4 years' PQE gained at a major City law firm (Magic/Silver Circle or Top US).  Applicants are highly likely to have enjoyed at least one secondment, which need not have been to a financial, though clearly this would be beneficial.
