Formalities Assistant: Our client - a prestigious City law firm with stunning offices are now looking for a Formalities Assistant to join their busy IP Litigation team.

Formalities Assistant: This is a great chance for someone with a strong focus on records and formalities who is looking to grow within a trade marks practice.

Formalities Assistant: Diary management is the core element of the role. You will be responsible for reviewing correspondence and adding deadlines to the diary, following up and ensuring that deadlines are met, and removing deadlines from the diary as appropriate.

The successful Formalities Assistant will have the following experience/skills:

  • Minimum of a year's experience either within a trade marks practice or strong paralegal experience
  • Ability to carry out all aspects of trade mark formalities
  • Basic working knowledge of the trade mark application processes
  • Excellent attention to detail and diligent management of deadlines
  • ITMA Trade Mark Administrators Certificate desired but not essential
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
