Senior Litigation & Regulatory PDL

In recent years this international law firm has achieved more tier 1 rankings in The Legal 500 than any other. It is recognised as being one of the most innovative law firms in Europe. Each practice group has a team of Practice Development Lawyers (PDLs) and a new Senior PDL is sought for the Litigation, Regulatory and Tax group. The opening would suit both existing PDLs and lawyers who are looking to move into such a role, and it can be tailored to either 4 or 5 days a week. Candidates must have a strong technical, practical and up to date grounding in Litigation and (to a lesser extent) regulatory law and practice.

This position will be partly client-facing so the ability to create opportunities to engage with clients will be useful. The (larger) internal aspect of the role will include: shaping the future of the PDL role with the existing team; identifying and communicating legal and market developments both internally and to clients; maintaining and increasing knowledge-based content for use on the intranet; and delivering internal training programmes. You will also provide a directional lead, alongside the other senior Scottish based PDL, to the wider team.
