Senior In-House Lawyer – Construction & Engineering
Our client is a global engineering business and leading household name.
This is an exciting opportunity to work as a senior lawyer within a large legal team, taking a key role in supporting turnkey projects and product development. You will also be called on to act as deputy to the Legal Manager.
The role will entail advising the business and key stakeholders on high value projects and complex contracts. You will ensure legal compliance and that risk is mitigated. The role supports sales, procurement, tendering teams and other management. You will support the business in resolving major claims and disputes and conduct internal training and knowledge sharing.
Suitable candidates will possess energy, drive and determination. You will possess strong commercial acumen, a personable and persuasive nature and the ability to get things done. Construction projects experience and knowledge of FIDIC, NEC3 and EPC contracts is essential.
Although this is a demanding, full time position, our client is a flexible employer who will consider some home working or flexible hours.
