This Magic Circle Law firm opened an office in Istanbul and has a consultancy arrangement with a local Turkish Partnership. With their English law capability and through their Turkish law expertise, this firm remain the go-to law firm for banking and finance, project finance, capital markets and mergers and acquisitions. Their dual law capability sets them apart in the Turkish market, and their team has excellent knowledge of local market trends, practice and the regulatory environment. They use their international reach, technical excellence and client-friendly approach to deliver complex transactions and build longstanding client relationships.

Your new role

This firm are looking for mid-level qualified banking lawyers, who thrive on developing relationships, delivering to clients and handling a varied workload. You should have a sound knowledge of Banking transactional work. That experience will probably have been gained at a practice with a reputation for work in this field. You must have excellent document drafting skills. You should demonstrate strong communication, organisational and analytical skills along with a high level of commercial awareness.


What you'll need to succeed

Ideally you will have between 3-5 years PQE gained at a reputable law firm. This firm welcomes applications from lawyers from leading firms in commonwealth jurisdictions, and they would welcome applications from lawyers qualified in other jurisdictions, especially if they have experience of working on cross border multi-jurisdictional deals. You will have a 2.1 degree or above, and excellent law firm experience.
