You will be responsible for many of the legal aspects relating to the launch and maintenance of a range of investment schemes and their associated products.
We are seeking a candidate with strong technical knowledge of UK collective investment schemes and their associated products, regulations and/or the operational processes required to support retail collective investment schemes and our investors.
Experience in the preparation of fund and other documentation required as part of the regulatory approval process for new fund launches and corporate events such as fund mergers.
Have a strong background in customer administration, customer services or fund administration.
Key responsibilities:
- Representing the Team on projects relating to our retail funds and their associated products.
- Creation and maintenance of fund documentation (e.g. Prospectuses, Instruments of Incorporation, KIIDs, etc) and product Terms & Conditions.
- Assisting with the procurement of regulatory approval of new funds and changes to existing funds.
- Input to / ownership of customer communications relating to corporate events.
- Liaising with other teams within the business as a whole.
- Liaising with external bodies such as external legal advisers and Depositaries.
- Analysing and communicating regulatory changes that impact on the fund range / products.
- Responding to technical queries from the business.
Essential Experience:
- Experience in the asset management industry, specifically with knowledge of authorised collective investment schemes.
- Either a proven knowledge of investment scheme rules, or a strong background in customer administration, customer services and/or fund administration.
Advantageous Experience:
- Experience drafting or maintaining legal documentation relating to Funds
- Previous experience in project working.
- Experience in sourcing, coordinating and managing inputs across a range of functions
