Full-service practice offering high quality work and career progression require additional Lawyers for their Private Client team.
A multi-office firm providing expert legal advice in a broad range of practice areas, they pride themselves on their ability to communicate in jargon-free language and work closely with clients to deal with all legal issues. A progressive practice lead by a team of experienced lawyers and offering a friendly working environment combined with excellent career prospects. Currently undergoing a period of sustained expansion, they are now seeking to add to their Private Client department.
The Role
This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated Private Client Lawyer to join our clients’ thriving practice in the Leicester area. Becoming part of a growing team, the successful Lawyer will handle a full and varied caseload to include: drafting simple and complex wills; inheritance tax planning; probate applications; LPAs; estate administration; trusts; Court of Protection applications and; contentious probate. The ideal Lawyer will also play an active role in business development opportunities and attend clients in the office and at external locations.

The Candidate
You must be a qualified Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive with 1 – 5 years’ PQE gained within a reputable Private Client department.
You must have excellent technical skills with solid experience in all aspects of Wills and Probate work to include contentious matters.
First class client care skills are essential for the position, along with the ability to attend clients at a variety of locations.
Applications are welcomed from those with STEP membership or those seeking to gain accreditation.
You will be confident, driven and willing to participate in business development activities.
