In-house Regulatory/Insurance Lawyer 5PQE+

Our client, a leading professional services company would like to hire a regulatory lawyer with at least 5 PQE+* to join their busy and collegiate team. The successful candidate will be part of an established legal team providing strategic support across the wider business. Working with both internal and external stakeholders you will be drafting and negotiating a wide variety of contracts. In addition to working on wider corporate transactions and advising on corporate governance issues.

Additional responsibilities for the role includes:

• Reviews and negotiates investment related agreements (working with an experienced Legal Advisor), including:
• Investment Management Agreements, ISDAs, Credit Support Agreements, Listed Derivatives Agreements and Brokerage Agreements;
•  Custody/Depositary agreements, administration agreements;
• Investment consultancy agreements, investment research agreements, licences;
• UCITS / AIF trust deeds, risk management frameworks, prospectuses and KIIDs;
• Fund services agreements for passive currency overlay, collateral management, middle office etc.;
• Finance documentation; and
• Confidentiality agreements.

•   Reviews and provides advice on third party pooled vehicles’ prospectuses and documentation.
• Implements new rules and regulations in collaboration with the Investment Operations and / or Portfolio Management teams (e.g. EMIR)

This is a broad and exciting role and candidates who wish to be considered for this position must have experience of drafting, negotiating and reviewing commercial contracts.
