Property Litigation – Commercial Property Team
London
The firm
The Property Litigation department at Top 100 Law Firm Thrings, has grown and increased its fee income to £1.2m per annum and exceeded budget in all recent financial years. This has been aided by the growth of the wider transactional Commercial Property Team and other teams across all five of Thrings core offices. Given the prevailing market conditions and the state of the local competitors, this is a notable achievement. The team's growth provides a solid foundation and confidence in the ability of the business to succeed in expanding during a period where other firms may be more concerned with reducing shrinkage.
Thrings are now looking to recruit a specialist property litigation partner, who has a strong proven following and reputation and a large address book, to be based primarily in our London office and to assist the Partners in growing the property litigation team. The “right person” will be a team player, and will immerse him or herself fully in the Thrings culture, the Property Litigation Team, the wider Commercial Property Team, the London office and London’s property market, professionals and target clients.
The purpose of the role is to complement the existing team and importantly enable profitable growth of the team, from the London office, with the majority of the fee earning being delegated to the junior members of the team in the South West. Excellent communication and delegation skills with the team in the South West and an ability to work cross office are paramount. An appetite and ability for business development as opposed to fee earning, will also be essential.

Experience and Knowledge
A demonstrable track record in building turnover whilst also building strong relationships with colleagues, clients, target clients and referrers.
