In-house Solicitor - FS Lawyer

Your new company
This high profile organisation, based in the North West, is looking to recruit a driven and ambitious solicitor with financial services experience. This is a newly created role to lead a small team and meet the objectives of a new internal strategy.

Your new role
You will work closely with the leadership and executive team, providing robust legal advice across a range of business and commercial matters, with responsibility for shaping and defining a new team structure. You will be managing a new legal function including as well as external lawyers and will be responsible for legal risk, budgets and cost control.

What you'll need to succeed
This will role will suit an experienced financial services lawyer with a track record in managing legal projects in a change environment. You will have financial services experience, gained from either the general banking and/or insurance sector, with a solid background in providing legal advice in a regulated environment and strong project management skills.
