Employment Paralegal

An ambitious and motivated person is required for an Employment Paralegal role with an international law firm. This role will be based in their Manchester office and offers a very attractive salary and benefits package.

About the role

The Employment team have an impressive portfolio of clients including blue-chip companies and public sector organisations. In order to ensure the team keep up with the increasing demand they have been experiencing they require a Employment Paralegal to shadow and assist the team.

Daily work of the Employment Paralegal will involve assisting on a range of contentious and non-contentious employment law matters including employment tribunal and litigation proceedings, pensions, mediation, redundancy, discrimination, whistleblowing, TUPE and the drafting of various employment documentation. You will also gain experience of advising clients both in person and on a telephone advice helpline.

About you

The Employment Paralegal should ideally have a minimum of 6 months' experience in Employment law but this does not preclude someone with more experienced from applying for the role.

The key skills the Employment Paralegal must possess include:

• Excellent time-management and organisational skills
• A thirst for knowledge
• Sharp attention to detail
• The ability to cope in a demanding environment
