Are you an experienced Property Solicitor with experience of Residential Conveyancing and Commercial Property looking to join a well established forward thinking firm in the Lake District / Cumbria?
This Head of Property role has become available as the current incumbent will be retiring in Spring. Therefore, this is a great opportunity for an experienced Property Solicitor to take over this busy department.
Your role will be to manage a caseload of commercial conveyancing - (acquisitions and disposals as well as the broad range of landlord & tenant leases) and residential development matters.
You will also be responsible for managing a team of 8 Fee Earners (3 Solicitors / 2 Conveyancers and 3 Trainees) and 8 support staff.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and a clear commitment to customer service are essential and knowledge and practical experience of managing CQS/Lexcel compliance etc.
You will likely be a qualified Solicitor, Legal Executive or a Licensed Conveyancer with a strong background in both Commercial Property and Residential Conveyancing. Team leadership experience would be a distinct advantage, although not essential.
