Legal Counsel - IP/Advertising - NQ-3PQE

An exciting, newly created in house role in the media/advertising sector has arisen. This is an amazing opportunity to break in to the media industry in a really hands on role with lots of variety.

Reporting into the General Counsel you will be joining a legal team of four, handling a broad range of legal and regulatory issues such as:

• drafting and negotiating commercial contracts across a broad range of topics - from IT to freelance contributors to standard terms and conditions for services
• advising on various legal issues, including data protection and intellectual property
• advise on advertising law enquiries, covering such matters as the CAP/BCAP Codes, Consumer Protection Regulations, IP rights (copyright, trademarks and passing-off)

• involvement with commercial disputes

You must be a UK qualified lawyer and possess strong commercial or IP experience. They are looking for a smart and engaging lawyer with a passion to get in the industry and are happy to train you up on the media specific legal work such as CAP codes if you have no experience; you just need to possess strong commercial or IP experience to be considered.
