Criminal Duty Solicitor with LAA supervisor status sought within Legal 500 rated practice in London.

The Role
We are now actively seeking a dynamic Criminal Supervisor for a leading department based in London. Able to hit the ground running, the successful Supervisor will manage a full caseload with minimal supervision, attending and advising clients at police stations and Magistrates Courts throughout the area, and preparing cases for trial. A minimum of one year’s supervisory experience or completion of the Legal Aid Supervision training is essential. Offering flexible working arrangements and exposure to high quality, complex matters this is an excellent opportunity for a talented Solicitor to make a positive contribution to the continued development of the department and practice as a whole. The Candidate
You must be a qualified Solicitor with a minimum of three years’ PQE and Criminal Duty accreditation;
You will have outstanding communication and client care skills;
You will work well under pressure, meeting tight deadlines;
You must have previous supervisory experience or completed the Legal Aid Supervision training course;
You will be able to manage a demanding caseload, with minimal supervision;
You will be pro-active, personable and detail orientated.
