Locum Education Solicitor

Venn Group's specialist legal team are excited to be recruiting for a Locum Education Lawyer to join a Local Authority in Hertfordshire. This contract is offered on a full-time basis for an initial period of 3 months, with the possibility of further extension.

The ideal candidate will be a Solicitor, Barrister or Legal Executive with previous experience specialising in Education law, ideally gained within Local Government. Experienced Lawyers with a Private Practice background and with the relevant experience will also be considered.

The successful candidate will have experience dealing with a wide range of education matters, specifically Special Educational Needs cases, including existing tribunal cases.

The caseload will consist of a variety of matters including SEN Matters, school admission cases and school exclusion appeals. It is essential that candidates have experience dealing with SEN tribunals for this role.

An attractive rate of up to £35 per hour is offered, dependant upon experience.
