In-house Construction Lawyer

Construction Lawyer sought for in house role working for a major multifaceted business.

Our client is a international business which is a leader in its field, which boasts an established legal team, and interests in several construction and engineering sectors. The business is fast paced, entrepreneurial and very international in nature. A position has become available for a construction lawyer with at least 5 years PQE to join the legal team.

It's a broad ranging legal role where your construction experience is vital, and you will need commercial 'nous' to compliment that. You will need detailed knowledge and experience in construction law, both in contentious and non-contentious matters. You will be adept in drafting, reviewing and negotiating a wide range of construction and commercial agreements and have a business facing pro-active and strategic role.

Alongside these strong technical legal abilities, you'll need exceptional communication skills, as you'll be interacting with senior members of the business on a daily basis. Your experience level is less important than your ability to do a good job. This will most likely gained from either a respected private practice firm with a strong construction department or you could also come from an in-house background. In every case, you will have strong academics and high quality, relevant experience. If you are enthusiastic and committed to an in house career you could thrive in this responsible role, and enjoy a close and rewarding relationship with your business colleagues.

Though you'll probably need as a minimum of 5 years PQE, you have less or more experience and are looking to move in house I encourage you to get in touch. The salary and package will be very competitive and commensurate with experience.
