Our client is a leading global investment firm and would like to hire an experienced legal administrator/paralegal to support its team of blue chip international lawyers.
You will focus on the following areas:
- Summarize legal documents for internal and external purposes
Conduct research on the internet or through outside search providers which are relevant to the Legal Division as required
Review legal documents, proof-read documents for accuracy, validity and compliance with Legal Division processes and procedures
Prepare reports, internal memos and relevant documents in coordination with in-house counsel
Prepare correspondences with external law firms in coordination with in-house counsel
Draft and maintain latest versions of legal documents and comments, based on pre-existing forms or as directed by in-house counsel
Attend meetings and if required prepare a summary of matters discussed
Assist in the development and preparation of relevant legal/ regulatory/ training materials, and the improvement of processes and templates to increase the efficiency and quality of legal advice
Coordinate with external counsel and departments on legal issues and documents with oversight from Counsel/ Advisors Partner with the Counsel/ Advisors and external counsel to develop and administer policies and practices - Keep up-to-date on all new developments
- Carry out other duties as required and/or as assigned by Counsel/ Advisors of the Legal Division
Requirements:
University degree, preferably in business or related field.
Minimum 2 yrs paralegal or legal secretary experience from a top tier law firm.
