My client is a renowned firm of Solicitors who are currently seeking to appoint an Assistant Law Costs Draftsman for their Manchester office. They are a well-respected law practice only specialising in claimant work. The areas of law they are experts in are as follows: personal injury, employer¿s liability, public liability, industrial disease as well as clinical negligence.
The main duties will include working closely with Law Costs Draftsmen and assisting them with the preparation of Statement of Costs for Summary Assessment (N260¿s), Estimates (Form H¿s), Costs Budgets (Precedent H), and Formal Bills of Costs; conducting negotiations under supervision of a senior Costs professional as well as providing administrative support.
The salary is dependent on experience, however my client is willing to offer a salary of up to £27.500 for Manchester.
