Commercial Property Legal Executive

A rare opportunity has arisen for a Commercial Property Legal Executive to join an established in-house legal team to manage all property law matters for the company. This is a full-time permanent opportunity based in the head office in Watford.
You will join a large, collegiate team in a fun, fast-paced atmosphere with complete autonomy for managing all aspects of property law relating to the company's large estate.
Day to day duties will include;
*Minor landlord and tenant disputes.
*Title issues including acquiring land by adverse possession, boundary disputes, disputes concerning easements, covenants and other third party rights.
*Acting on the completion of deeds of variation, licences for alterations, licences (e.g. short term licences to occupy / tenancy at will, scaffold licences etc.), straight forward lease renewals, post registration matters (all the company's property acquisitions are dealt with externally).
*Party Wall Act matters.
*Assisting, where necessary, with property litigation matters.
*Dealing with general property queries from other departments within the Company.
You will have significant prior legal experience in commercial property, ideally in-house. You will be confident working with all levels of the business and able to build successful working relationships. You will take a proactive approach to your work and be able to work in a busy environment.
