Head of Company/ Commercial Department

The Firm
This Legal 500 firm with offices throughout Dorset are seeking to appoint a Head of Company/ Commercial . This role will be based in North Dorset in an area of outstanding national beauty and within easily commutable distance of Poole and Salisbury.

The Role
Will involve managing and developing the Company/ Commercial team and also handling your own caseload consisting of; company sales & purchases, drafting contracts & shareholder agreements, share capital restructuring and business planning and start-ups. In addition to the aforementioned duties, you will take an active role in business development and attending networking events.

The Ideal Applicant
Will be a recognised Grade A Fee Earner and possess a strong background in Company/ Commercial law and able to demonstrate a detailed and thorough knowledge. The ability to prioritise and delegate work effectively is essential to ensure the smooth running of the department.
