In House Commercial contracts solicitor

My client is based in the not for profit sector and is seeking an in-house commercial contracts solicitor. This is a short term 3 month requirement to assist with a variety of contractual matters. We are looking for someone to start ideally as soon as possible and work on a full time basis - 37.5 hours per week.

The hourly rate for the position of In House Commercial contracts solicitor will be subject to experience and is from £20 - £40 per hour.

Description

The client is looking to engage a locum In House Commercial contracts solicitor whom can manage the following caseload:

• Must have previous experience either within the public sector or within education.
• To draft contracts including confidentiality agreements, collaboration agreements.
• Experience dealing with intellectual property matters.
• Liaise effectively with other areas of the business.
• Able to negotiate and agree terms and conditions.

Profile

Any applicant wishing to apply for this position must have the following criteria:

• Must be a UK qualified solicitor
• Must hold an in date practising certificate
• Have previously worked within the public sector or education sector
• Have worked as a commercial contracts solicitor
• Be a strong communicator and team player
• Capable of working autonomously
