The Role: Care Solicitor
Location: Greater Manchester
Contract Type: Permanent
Salary: £30,000 - £40,000

Our client, a well-respected and established firm near Manchester, is looking to recruit a Childcare Solicitor to join their busy team on an permanent basis. The client is a busy private practice firm, with a strong reputation for providing professional and specialist legal advice specialising in Family and Care proceedings. The role would suit a qualified Care solicitor who is able to hit the ground running in this permanent position.

The role will entail the Care Solicitor to run an existing caseload of childcare matters which includes but not restricted to:

• Public law childcare proceedings
• Conducting your own advocacy and the ability to represent either the child, parent or guardian
• Drafting applications
• Managing cases from inception to completion

Applications for this Care Solicitor role are being considered from qualified solicitors with at least 2-3 years PQE who have attained or are willing to work towards Children Panel membership. You must be hard working, ambitious and willing to work as part of an established team.
