Opportunity within a Birmingham private practice who, due to increased workloads, need to recruit a Litigation Solicitor to join its established team.

Client Details

A Birmingham law firm, with a strong litigation department acting for a mix of clients.

Description

This is an opportunity for a Litigation Solicitor to join a full service, high street law firm who are looking to recruit into their contentious team. The team acts for local SMEs and individuals and they have a loyal client base, established through the solid reputation of the firm.

You'll be thrown into the work from day one. They are very busy and could bring the right candidate on board straightaway if they were immediately available.

This is a chance for you to come into a fairly autonomous role in a smaller firm, perhaps away from the politics of working for a bigger player.

What they can offer you:

  • A genuinely mixed caseload - you'll be getting involved with different types of clients and a real mix of work from insolvency litigation, shareholder disputes and landlord & tenant litigation through to contentious probate matters
  • Working as part of a team including the senior partner
  • Chances to progress within the firm for the right person - a lot of the partners trained at the firm and climbed the ranks
  • Flexibility if needed (part time could be considered for an exceptional solicitor)
  • Your own clients - you'll be running with matters and they'll let you have full access to clients. No need for you to bring your own following.
  • Access to a bonus scheme

Profile

You'll be a confident litigator with mixed experience and able to run with your own matters. They will consider solicitors with all levels of experience.

Job Offer

Dependant on experience.
