An experienced corporate lawyer who has between 6-10PQE is sought for a top tier international firm in Birmingham to join as a Legal Project Manager.
This is a rare opportunity for a senior corporate lawyer who has experience in dealing with complex international matters to step away from fee earning and into a project management role. This is a new role aimed at improving the quality of the transaction service offered to clients. Working with the lead partner, the Legal Project Manager will take responsibilities for establishing the key project phases, developing teams, managing budgets, project reporting and developing relationships with key stakeholders both internally and externally.
This role would suit candidates who want to take a step away from fee earning but also remain in an integral position within private practice. This is a full time role, however it would offer steady working hours and work–life balance. You will have a strong academic background, will have gained at least 6 years+ corporate experience at either a top tier UK or US firm and will have experience working on international transactions.
