The Role
Due to expansion, a rare opportunity has arisen for a dynamic Community Care Solicitor to join a specialist team in Southampton. Advising and assisting clients in all types of Community Care work, the successful Solicitor will manage a demanding caseload to include: NHS Continuing Care; health and social care provisions; discrimination; mental health aftercare; personal health budgets; safeguarding and; housing. The ideal Fee Earner will have previous experience with mental health matters and judicial reviews, however this is not a pre-requisite for this position. The Candidate
You must be a qualified Solicitor with a minimum of two years’ PQE;
You will be technically competent with knowledge of community care and court of protection matters;
You will have outstanding communication and client care skills;
Previous experience in judicial review and mental health matters is desirable but not essential;
You will be able to organise your workload, to meet tight deadlines;
You will be personable with a detail orientated approach;
You will be a pro-active team player, with a desire for professional development.
